Bolay Nutrition Calculator

Meta Title: Bolay Nutrition Calculator: Calories, Protein & Macros

Meta Description: Calculate Bolay calories, protein, carbs, fat, and sodium. Build your Bol with bases, veggies, protein, toppings, and sauces or compare Chef-Inspired Bols.

Bolay Nutrition Calculator

A Bolay meal is built in layers, and every layer changes the final nutrition.

Your choice of rice or noodles, vegetables, protein, toppings, and sauce determines the calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, and sodium in the finished Bol.

Use the Bolay Nutrition Calculator above to compare individual ingredients, explore Chef-Inspired Bols, or combine the ingredients from your own order to see the nutrition of the complete meal.

Build Your Bol From the Base Up

The easiest way to calculate a customized Bolay order is to follow the same order in which the bowl is built.

Start with your base, then add vegetables, protein, toppings, and sauce.

This matters because a Bol made with jasmine rice, steak, avocado, and a creamy sauce will have a very different nutrition profile from one made with greens, tofu, vegetables, and vinaigrette.

Instead of searching for one average number for “Bolay calories,” calculate the ingredients that are actually in your bowl.

Your Base Shapes the Carb Profile

Bolay offers several very different bases, including options such as:

Jasmine Rice
Forbidden Black Rice
Asian Sweet Potato Noodles
Pesto Noodles
Chopped Kale Salad
Spinach and Almond Salad
Naked Artisan Greens

Rice and noodle bases generally contribute more carbohydrates, while greens-based options create a different calorie and macro balance.

If you combine more than one base, include both when calculating your order.

Compare Proteins by the Complete Nutrition Profile

Protein is one of the biggest variables in a Bolay bowl.

Current menu choices include options such as Lemon Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, Rotisserie Chicken Thigh, Garlic Pepper Steak, Miso Glazed Tofu, and Roasted Coho Salmon .

Each contributes a different balance of protein, calories, and fat.

For example, salmon naturally contains more fat than very lean chicken, while tofu has a different combination of protein, fat, and carbohydrates than meat-based proteins.

Use the calculator to compare the actual nutrition numbers rather than assuming that every protein serving affects the bowl in the same way.

Vegetables Can Add More Than Volume

Bolay vegetables include choices such as Garlic Broccoli, Maple Sweet Potatoes, Power Bean Medley, Chilled Street Corn, and Cucumber Tomato Medley.

These ingredients differ nutritionally.

Sweet potatoes and corn contribute more carbohydrates than many non-starchy vegetables, while bean-based options can contribute both carbohydrates and protein.

If you use several vegetables, add each one to your Bol calculation so the final result reflects your full portion.

Toppings and Sauces Finish the Nutrition Too

It is easy to calculate the rice and protein but forget what goes on top.

Fresh avocado, feta, Parmesan, almonds, pickled onions, and sauces each add their own nutrition to the bowl.

Sauces such as Herb Pesto, Creamy Garlic & Herb, Smoky Chipotle, Ginger Turmeric, and Cilantro Lime Vinaigrette can differ substantially in calories, fat, carbohydrates, and sodium.

If you use extra sauce or more than one sauce, include that in your total whenever the appropriate portion is available.

Chef-Inspired Bols vs Build Your Own

Bolay also offers complete Chef-Inspired Bols with ingredients already selected for you.

Examples include combinations built around salmon, steak, chicken, tofu, rice, noodles, greens, vegetables, and signature sauces.

If you order one of these standard recipes without changes, use the nutrition entry for the complete Chef Bol when available.

If you remove ingredients, add extras, or significantly customize the recipe, calculating the individual components can give you a better estimate of the meal you actually receive.

Bolay Is Gluten-Free, But That Does Not Make Every Bol Nutritionally the Same

Bolay states that its menu is 100% gluten-free .

That is useful information for people avoiding gluten, but gluten-free status does not tell you how many calories, carbs, protein, fat, or sodium a bowl contains.

A rice-based Bol with avocado and sauce can have a very different nutrition profile from a greens-based Bol with chicken and vegetables even though both are gluten-free.

Use the nutrition values themselves when comparing meals.

Calculate the Full Order

If your order includes more than a Bol, add the other items too.

Bolay also offers drinks, sides, and desserts. A lemonade, cookie, chia pudding, or additional side contributes separately to the final nutrition total.

Think of the calculator as:

Bol + side + drink + dessert = complete order

This provides more useful information than looking at the main bowl alone.
