Freebirds does not build every burrito the same way.

You choose the size, tortilla, protein, rice, beans, cheese, vegetables, queso, guacamole, and finishing sauces. That means two Freebird Burritos can have completely different calories and macros even though they share the same entrée name.

Use the Freebirds Nutrition Calculator above to build your order ingredient by ingredient and estimate the calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, sodium, fiber, and other available nutrition values in the meal you actually order.

Burrito Size Is the First Big Decision

Freebirds is known for offering burritos in several sizes rather than one standard portion.

Depending on the current menu and location, available sizes can include:

Halfbird

Freebird

Monster

Super Monster

Moving to a larger burrito can mean larger portions of the tortilla, protein, rice, beans, cheese, and other fillings.

For that reason, a Monster should not simply be calculated as a Freebird with a slightly larger tortilla.

The ingredient portions associated with the selected size need to be reflected throughout the calculation.

Do Not Treat “Freebird Burrito” as One Fixed Recipe

This is the most important rule for Freebirds nutrition.

A customer could build one Freebird Burrito with:

Flour tortilla + Spanish rice + black beans + Fajita White Chicken + cheese + pico

while another customer could order:

High Protein tortilla + cauliflower rice + steak + refried beans + queso + guacamole + Creamy Jalapeño

Both are technically Freebird Burritos, but their nutrition can differ substantially.

The calculator is most accurate when the entrée acts as a container for your selected ingredients rather than assigning every Freebird Burrito one universal calorie number.

Tortilla Choice Can Change Calories, Carbs, and Protein

Freebirds currently offers several tortilla options, including:

Flour

Spicy Cayenne

Garlic Herb

Spinach

High Protein tortilla

Soft corn tortillas are also available for tacos.

The High Protein tortilla is especially distinctive because Freebirds markets it with 15g of protein .

NutritionSolver currently lists it at approximately 250 calories, 15g protein, and 30g carbohydrates .

By comparison, the current Flour Tortilla entry is approximately 270 calories with 7g protein and 44g carbohydrates .

So tortilla choice can change much more than flavor.

Choose the Protein That Matches Your Order

The current Freebirds menu includes proteins such as:

Ranch Hand Steak

Texas Ground Beef

Fajita White Chicken

Freebirds Chicken

Carnitas

and a vegetarian option that includes guacamole.

Current NutritionSolver values show useful differences between several individual protein portions:

Protein

Calories

Protein

Freebirds Chicken

16g

Fajita White Chicken

97

18g

Carnitas

150

18g

Texas Ground Beef

169

14g

Ranch Hand Steak

179

22g

The highest-calorie protein is not necessarily the highest-protein choice, so comparing both values can be more useful than looking at calories alone.

Rice Can Change the Bowl More Than Expected

Freebirds currently offers:

Spanish Rice

Cilantro-Lime Rice

Cauliflower Rice

The current NutritionSolver entries list approximately:

Spanish Rice: 146 calories

Cilantro-Lime Rice: 167 calories

Cauliflower Rice: 40 calories

The cauliflower option has a very different carbohydrate profile from the traditional rice choices.

That makes rice selection particularly relevant for bowls and burritos where a substantial serving forms part of the base.

Black, Pinto, and Refried Beans Are Different

Freebirds offers black beans, whole pinto beans, and refried beans.

Current NutritionSolver values show:

Black Beans: about 95 calories and 6g protein

Pinto Beans: about 100 calories and 6g protein

Refried Beans: about 172 calories and 8g protein

Refried beans also have considerably more fat in the current data.

If you change the bean selection, update the calculator instead of treating all beans as nutritionally interchangeable.

Queso and Guacamole Deserve Separate Entries

Freebirds allows queso and guacamole to be added to customized entrées.

Current NutritionSolver entries list roughly:

Queso: 98 calories

Guacamole: 88 calories

These are not insignificant additions when combined with cheese, rice, beans, meat, and sauces.

If you order both queso and guacamole, include both.

The same applies to diced avocado if that is the option actually used in your meal.

Freebirds Gives You a Lot of Topping Freedom

The current menu lets customers add multiple ingredients such as:

Sautéed peppers and onions

Potatoes

Monterey Jack cheese

Roasted corn salsa

Pico de gallo

Jalapeños

Red onion

Roasted garlic

Lettuce

Tortilla strips

and other toppings.

Some add only a small number of calories, while cheese, potatoes, tortilla strips, avocado, and queso can make a more noticeable difference.

A proper Freebirds calculator should let the user add each selected topping instead of estimating an average amount for “toppings.”

“The Big Finish” Can Include Up to Three Sauces

Sauce customization is another part of Freebirds that deserves its own nutrition logic.

The current menu offers finishing options such as:

Agave Adobo Vinaigrette

Fiery Habanero

Creamy Jalapeño

Death Sauce

Roasted Tomatillo

Spicy Tomatillo

House Roasted Salsa

BBQ Sauce

Creamy Chipotle

Freebirds Ranch

Sour Cream

and lime juice.

Freebirds allows customers to choose up to three finishing sauces.

That means someone using Creamy Jalapeño, Ranch, and sour cream can end up with a very different total from someone choosing tomatillo salsa and lime juice.

Current NutritionSolver data lists Creamy Jalapeño at about 120 calories , compared with about 15 calories for Death Sauce .

Sauce choice can therefore make a real difference.

A Bowl Removes the Tortilla, Not the Other Ingredients

Choosing a bowl instead of a burrito removes the large flour-style tortilla from the starting point.

But it does not automatically create a low-calorie order.

A bowl can still contain:

Rice + beans + steak + queso + cheese + guacamole + tortilla strips + creamy sauce

which can add up quickly.

Build the entire bowl before deciding how it compares with a burrito.

Freebirds Nachos Include Queso

Freebirds nachos follow a different structure from a bowl or salad.

The current menu states that nachos include two scoops of Liquid Gold Queso on the side , in addition to the selected protein and customizable toppings.

That serving definition matters.

If the nutrition entry already includes those two queso portions, do not add them again. If you are assembling the nachos from components, make sure the queso is included.

The Quesarito Needs Its Own Calculation

Freebirds also offers the Quesarito , which takes a burrito and fills it with melted queso before toasting it.

That makes it different from simply choosing a standard burrito and adding a small side of queso.

The Quesarito should ideally be available as its own build type:

Choose burrito size → add queso-filled preparation → choose remaining ingredients

This gives users a more accurate result than estimating it from a normal burrito.

Power-Packed Bowls Are Fixed Combinations

Freebirds currently offers several Power-Packed Bowls designed around specific combinations, including options positioned as:

Keto

Paleo

Vegan/Vegetarian

Unlike a fully customized bowl, these are preset recipes with defined ingredient combinations.

If NutritionSolver has verified nutrition for the complete current recipe, users should be able to select the preset bowl directly.

If they customize it, switch to ingredient-level calculation.

High-Protein Burritos Use a Different Starting Recipe

Freebirds also currently promotes Protein-Packed Burritos using its High Protein tortilla and cauliflower rice.

Current combinations include steak, fajita chicken, and carnitas versions.

These meals have a distinct search intent because users may specifically be comparing protein rather than only calories.

Showing protein alongside calories is especially useful for these burritos.

Chips and Dip Need Portion Sizes

The current menu offers chips with:

Queso

Guacamole

House Roasted Salsa

Corn Salsa

Loaded Queso

Creamy Jalapeño

Several dips come in Regular and Large servings.

A large queso order should not use the nutrition value for a small entrée topping portion.

NutritionSolver should preserve the serving context:

Entrée portion

Regular side

Large side

so users do not accidentally undercount a shared appetizer.

Build Your Freebirds Order the Way You Actually Eat It

Start with your exact entrée and size , then choose the correct tortilla, rice, beans, protein, cheese, vegetables, queso, guacamole, and finishing sauces .

After that, add any chips and dip, dessert, kids item, or beverage that is part of the order.

That approach matches how Freebirds actually builds its food and gives you a much more useful nutrition total than relying on a single generic calorie number for a burrito.
