Salmon HQ serves much more than plain salmon sashimi.

The current menu includes sashimi, sushi rolls, nigiri, gunkan, inari, poke bowls, Japanese rice meals, salmon and tuna platters, salads, tempura, curry dishes, and drinks. Some items have clearly published weights or piece counts, while mixed dishes contain rice, sauces, vegetables, seafood, and other ingredients that make their nutrition harder to estimate accurately.

Use the Salmon HQ Nutrition Calculator above to find available calorie and macro estimates, but pay attention to the serving description and the data source attached to each item.

Salmon HQ Does Not Appear to Publish Official Nutrition Facts

The current Salmon HQ menus I reviewed list menu items, portions, ingredients, and prices, but they do not provide official calorie, protein, carbohydrate, fat, or sodium values.

That distinction matters.

When NutritionSolver provides nutrition for Salmon HQ, values that are calculated from standard food-composition data should be clearly labeled:

Estimated nutrition

rather than:

Official Salmon HQ nutrition

A recipe estimate is useful when its ingredients and serving amounts are known, but it should never be presented as though Salmon HQ published the number.

Sashimi Is the Simplest Item to Estimate

Current Salmon HQ menus give useful serving information for sashimi.

The current Salmon Sashimi is listed as:

100g, 5 pieces

and Tuna Sashimi is also:

100g, 5 pieces .

Because the weight is known, these are much easier to estimate than a poke bowl or sushi roll.

However, the exact nutrition still depends on the species and fat content of the fish.

For example, USDA-derived generic food data lists raw farmed Atlantic salmon at about 208 calories per 100g , while wild Atlantic salmon is approximately 142 calories per 100g .

Unless Salmon HQ confirms the exact species and nutrition specification of its salmon, a single generic calorie value should therefore be labeled as an estimate.

Do Not Use Salmon Nutrition for Tuna

Salmon HQ sells both Salmon Sashimi and Tuna Sashimi as separate 100g portions.

These fish should not automatically receive identical nutrition.

For comparison, USDA-derived data for raw skipjack tuna lists approximately 103 calories, 22g protein, and 1g fat per 100g , substantially different from the nutrient profile of raw farmed Atlantic salmon.

The exact Salmon HQ tuna species is not stated on the current menu, so NutritionSolver should not assume skipjack specifically.

The important point is that:

Salmon and tuna need separate verified or estimated food references.

Maki Cannot Be Calculated as Plain Salmon

Current Salmon HQ maki options include products such as:

Classic Maki

Spicy Salmon Maki

Spicy Tuna Maki

Ebi Tempura Maki

and other rolls. The current menu describes Spicy Salmon Maki as a four-piece serving containing salmon and crunch, while Classic Maki contains cucumber, crabstick, and mango.

Maki also normally includes sushi rice and other recipe components.

That means a four-piece Spicy Salmon Maki serving should not use the nutrition of an equivalent weight of plain raw salmon.

A better estimate requires the amount of:

sushi rice + salmon + sauce + crunchy topping + nori + other ingredients

in the four-piece serving.

If those recipe weights are unavailable, display:

Nutrition estimate unavailable

instead of substituting plain salmon nutrition.

Nigiri Includes Rice

Salmon nigiri is not sashimi.

Sashimi is primarily sliced fish, while nigiri combines seafood with sushi rice.

Current Salmon HQ has a dedicated Nigiri category with several current products.

A nutrition record for Salmon Nigiri therefore needs to account for:

salmon + sushi rice

and any sauce or garnish included in the recipe.

Using only the estimated calories of the salmon portion will understate carbohydrates and usually total calories.

Gunkan Needs the Topping as Well as the Rice

Salmon HQ currently offers several gunkan products, including:

Salmon Gunkan

Tuna Gunkan

Uni Gunkan

Philly Gunkan

Ikura Gunkan

Wakame Gunkan

and:

Kani Gunkan .

These products can contain sushi rice, seafood, cream cheese, roe, seaweed, or other toppings depending on the recipe.

They should not share one generic gunkan nutrition value.

Each named recipe needs its own ingredient model.

Inari Is Another Important Missing Format

The current menu includes inari such as:

Inari Gohan

Kani Salad Inari

Spicy Salmon Inari

Miso Salmon Inari

Spicy Tuna Inari

Tuna Shoyu Inari

and:

Uni Ikura Inari .

Inari uses a braised tofu pocket with sushi rice and a selected topping.

Its calories therefore cannot be estimated from the seafood topping alone.

NutritionSolver should calculate or estimate:

tofu pocket + sushi rice + topping + sauce

as one complete serving.

Poke Bowls Need a Full Recipe Calculation

Poke bowls are among the most important current Salmon HQ meal categories.

The current menu includes:

Salmondon

Tunadon

Tuna Tamagodon

Salmon Tamagodon

Spicy Tuna Poke Bowl

Tuna Shoyu Poke Bowl

Miso Salmon Poke Bowl

Spicy Salmon Poke Bowl

Aburi Salmon Tamagodon

and other bowls.

Current menu descriptions show why one salmon value is not enough.

For example, the Spicy Salmon Poke Bowl includes:

spicy salmon, cucumber, mango, crabstick, rice, and crunch .

Miso Salmon Poke Bowl contains:

miso salmon, cucumber, mango, crabstick, and rice .

The rice, sauce, crabstick, mango, and crunchy topping all contribute to the final nutrition.

A useful poke-bowl estimate needs the complete recipe.

Salmondon Is Simpler but Still Includes Sushi Rice

The current Salmondon is described as:

salmon sashimi on top of sushi rice .

That means its nutrition consists of at least:

salmon + sushi rice .

It should not receive the same carbohydrate value as plain Salmon Sashimi.

The same rule applies to Tunadon.

Tamagodon Adds Japanese Egg

Current Salmon Tamagodon combines salmon sashimi with tamago over sushi rice. Tuna Tamagodon uses tuna instead.

An accurate estimate needs:

fish + tamago + sushi rice

rather than only the seafood component.

Rice Meals Are Complete Meals, Not Fish Portions

Salmon HQ currently has rice meals such as:

Salmon Teppan

Salmon Tempura

Beef Teppan

Chicken Teriyaki

Chicken Karaage

and:

Shrimp Tempura .

The current menu describes these rice meals as being served with rice, vegetables, and soup .

That makes Salmon Teppan fundamentally different from plain cooked salmon.

Its nutrition needs to account for:

cooked salmon + cooking oil/sauce + rice + vegetables + soup .

Cooking Method Matters

Raw salmon sashimi, teppan salmon, tempura salmon, spicy salmon, and miso salmon should not use one nutrition profile.

Preparation can add:

oil

breading

sauce

sugar

sodium

and other ingredients.

The selected Salmon HQ preparation should therefore remain part of the product name.

Salmon Platters Are Best Calculated by Weight

Salmon HQ currently sells straightforward salmon platters in clearly defined weights:

150g

300g

500g

1,000g .

These are among the easiest products to estimate because the serving weight is explicit.

However, the underlying per-100g salmon reference still needs to be identified.

A transparent NutritionSolver record should therefore display:

Serving weight

Nutrition source used for estimation

and:

Estimated, not official Salmon HQ nutrition

when Salmon HQ has not supplied its own analysis.

Tuna Platters Need Their Own Food Reference

The current menu also sells:

Tuna 150g

Tuna 300g

Tuna 500g

and:

Tuna 1,000g .

Do not calculate these by copying the salmon platter values.

The tuna species or supplier specification should be verified first where possible.

If it cannot be confirmed, use an appropriately documented generic tuna reference and label the result as estimated.

Mixed Platters Need Component-Level Calculation

Current Salmon HQ platters include combinations such as:

Salmon Tuna Platter

Salmon Uni Platter

Complete Platter

Tokyo

Osaka

Kyoto

Fujimaki

Sapporo

and:

Chibimaki .

The current Salmon Tuna Platter, for example, is described as containing:

600g salmon + 400g tuna .

Other platters combine sashimi with maki, nigiri, uni, and other foods.

These should be calculated from each actual component rather than assigning a generic platter calorie value.

Shared Platters Need Portion Controls

A 1,000g salmon order or large mixed sushi platter is normally shared.

NutritionSolver should let the user choose:

Whole platter

or:

amount personally eaten

using grams, pieces, or a fraction of the platter.

A 1kg platter should never automatically be treated as one standard individual meal.

Premium Salmon Cake Is Not Just a Large Piece of Salmon

Salmon HQ became known for its Premium Salmon Cake, which has been described as containing layers of salmon along with ingredients such as kani, ebiko, spicy salmon, chuka wakame, and Japanese sushi rice.

That means the cake needs a recipe-level calculation.

Its carbohydrate value cannot be estimated from salmon alone because sushi rice and other ingredients contribute substantial carbohydrates.

Until a current cake weight, recipe, and ingredient quantities can be verified, the safest display is:

Nutrition not officially published

or:

Estimated nutrition pending recipe verification .

Current Menu Availability Can Differ by Location

Current Salmon HQ menus are visible for locations including The Podium and UP Diliman, and the available items and prices can differ between them.

NutritionSolver should therefore separate:

nutrition identity

from:

location availability .

A product can remain in the nutrition database without implying that it is currently sold at every Salmon HQ outlet.

Use the Serving Information Before the Estimate

For sashimi and plain platters , start with the published gram weight.

For maki, nigiri, gunkan, and inari , calculate the fish together with sushi rice and recipe-specific ingredients.

For poke bowls , include the rice, seafood, sauce, fruit, vegetables, crabstick, and crunchy toppings actually used.

For rice meals , include the cooked entrée, rice, vegetables, soup, and preparation ingredients.

For mixed platters and Salmon Cakes , calculate every component or clearly state that complete nutrition is unavailable.

Because Salmon HQ does not currently provide public nutrition facts for these menu items, transparent estimation is more useful and trustworthy than presenting an exact-looking number without a verifiable recipe.
